While Filewave has also updated their software to accommodate these device management changes, we are still running all our devices via the old system. This is really a great change for districts like ours that have shared iPads, however, it does mean a major shift in how we create and send out the apps through the Filewave program. Apple has made some changes, for the better, that allow schools to now assign apps by device rather than through a specific Apple ID account.
As you all know technology can be a great asset, but it is ever changing - normally for the better. The most popular culprit seems to be the Google apps (Docs, Slides, Sheets, Google Drive). We have had some struggles this year with apps malfunctioning on the iPads.
